The Melfort Estate is situated 17 miles south of Oban on the west coast of Argyll, Scotland.

We are approximately 2 hours' drive from Glasgow airport. There is a railway station in Oban, about a half-hour drive from Kilmelford which has 2 services daily to and from Glasgow and 3 during the summer months.

Location of Crosple Cottage:

Whilst Crosple Cottage lies within easy reach of the village of Kilmelford (2 miles) the final 400m is via a farm track which passes through open countryside. It is situated 200m further up the hill from Fearnach Bay House, (see map). There will be times when gates need to be opened and closed when there is farm stock in the area so please be aware that whilst not remote, the cottage is isolated and as such is perfect for those who wish solitude.
